This summer I have decided to make an album with a compilation of memories. The artbook size is Din A4 aprox. And it allows me to add pages in the meantime.
As you can see I have used three different stencils. The first one I've used is one of my favourites. After painting the background yellow I have used the stencil with the paste to make a relief, and afterwards I have applied pigments to make it look like worn out wood.
Once the background is completed, lets make the decorations. Its really hot so Its a good idea making an icecube bucket to refresh ourselves. I have also used the paste o achive a 3d effect.
When the paste dries we can proceed to stencil on the bucket the “Keep calm and drink Champagne” design on it using shiny medium gel.
Using a star-shaped stencil I have made a carboard starfish painted white with sandy effect that I have then stuck on the lower left corner of the surface.
Lastly I have used decoupage technique to put the phrase “enjoy the simple things in life”.
The photographs are kept in the fake pocket with the journal that I have later tied with a mulsin cloth and a broken bracelet is stuck as a decoration.
As you can see, with imaginative applications not even broken objetcts go to waste.
