I've created a vintage card from the begining. This is a description of the process, a small tutorial.
How to do it:
1. I took a piece of watercolor paper and wet it completely with a brush. Then, I added the a spray paint (It could be any water paint, like watercolors or tempera). As the paper was moistened previously, the paints mix very well creating some beautiful gradients.
2. The next step was adding a texture with the Stencil Deco Damasks 071 Floral Damask and Mastic Relief Stencil. The stencil paste is very smooth and has a creamy texture_ so the drawing is very well defined and clean.
3. Finally I added some stamps and blue splashes.
4. For decoration I chosed a picture of a girl, that I cut out of a decorated scrapbooking paper. I sewed with the sewing machine all the elements and added some small details. I added a sentence and the card is ready!
I encourage you to try and experience with the todo-stencil stencils because it is a very quick and easy way to create beautiful backgrounds in our projects.
I hope you liked it.
I send you a kiss and see you next time!
