Although world book day was some time ago, in my opinion reading is a habit you must endure every day. For the last years I have been working on bookmarks for charity initiatives regarding children that are hospitalized to try to make their day better. This year I have done lots of simple bookmarks.
This are the materials I have used:
The bookmarks have a tag shaped format. You first cut the kraft cardboard 17 x 7 cm aprox.
Then you cut the white cardboard in a smaller size (16 x 6 cm) and you create cute backgrounds on them using the stencils.
I use ink and a makeup sponge to apply it.
You then stick the white cardboard on the kraft cardboard and make a hole on the top part and tie a ribbon or a cord. We can now stick the cut out stamp drawings that we have previously coloured. On the back of the bookmark I usually write motivational phrases.
